What we do

Our mission is to ensure no one in our community faces hunger or hardship alone. We provide food, basic necessities, and connect people with local resources that promote dignity, hope, and long-term stability.

💚 Help Us Keep Families Fed This Weekend — Your Support Matters Now More Than Ever

At Stiggs Feed-A-Friend, our mission is simple but powerful:
👉 No one in our community should face hunger or hardship alone.

Over the years, we’ve stepped up for our community in some of its hardest moments:

🔥 Helped families who lost everything in house fires
🎒 Filled 48 backpacks with full school supplies & provided clothes to students in need
🎄 Distributed gift cards & food during school breaks when children lose access to daily meals
❄ During the ice storm, we fed and supported 1,463 people and multiple shelters over 42 days with food, essentials, and direct relief

But as we met with the City, Manna Food Project, and local food pantries to ask where we are needed most right now, one need stood above all the others:

📆 Families are going hungry from Saturday through Tuesday, when food banks are closed and emergency boxes run out—often lacking nutritious choices.

✅ So in 2025, we refocused our mission on THE IN BETWEEN HOURS.

✔ Providing full, nutritious weekend family grocery boxes.
✔ Eliminating the hunger gap when traditional services close
✔ Giving children meals before Monday comes and bringing families back to the tables.
✔ Offering dignity, safety, and consistency to struggling families

📈 And the need is growing every weekend.
